Most people would think I would be relieved,
Most people tell me to just get over it,
And some people say I'm being selfish.
Well, I don't care what you think of me... obviously, but
TODAY is the day...
The LAST day.
And, it's a sad for me.
We have been breastfeeding for 1 year, 4 months, 2 weeks, and 5 days.

I have to be honest and tell you, this is a VERY hard day for me...
Look at her! She's so healthy and getting so big.
I know it's time.
But, it doesn't make it any easier for her momma.
I love her.

I'm so proud of you girl! You guys had such a rough start with so much time in the hospital, but you hung in there and you stuck with it! Gracie (and Luke) are so lucky to have you!
ReplyDeletePS I was SO sad when Ethan stopped bfing too, but then again, he didn't get a single tooth until I stopped nursing, so I guess I really never had it very rough :)
